What is TRITOFlex™?
TRITOflex™ is a instant-setting liquid rubber that is water-based and environmentally safe. It is a tough yet extremely flexible material that can be efficiently sprayed to any thickness in a single pass creating a fully-adhered, monolithic waterproofing membrane with no waste. TRITOflex™ is lightweight so it can be applied directly over an existing roof system eliminating the need for wasteful and costly tear-offs. Since it is water-based with no VOC’s it is considered a “green” product that is sustainable for years as a restorative waterproofing system.
Who is TritoNZ?
TritoNZ is one of few licensed applicators of TRITOflex™ in New Zealand. Mark Juchnowicz came across TRITOflex™ in early 2012 and knew it had the potential to truly revolutionise waterproofing in New Zealand. TRITOflex™ has had extensive testing for 20 years in the USA. With decades of experience as a Master Plumber and drainlayer, Mark had become an expert in waterproofing, especially finding and repairing tricky to fix leaks. When he heard about TRITOflex™ he knew it would be a total game changer – being able to spray on a liquid waterproofing membrane means just about any surface imaginable could be safely (it is water based and environmentally friendly) applied.

Main uses of TRITOFlex™
Roof waterproofing
TRITOflex™ can be sprayed on to just about any substrate, so it is ideal to waterproof leaky roofing. We simply clean the surface, apply the primer, spray on the TRITOflex™, then apply a ceramic based thermal insulating protective coating and then we can repaint it so it matches the rest of your roof.
Basement waterproofing
Basement waterproofing can be really tricky – especially if the basement is below ground. TRITOflex™ and Polyflex is the perfect solution as it can be applied from either the inside or the outside.
Deck waterproofing
When building a new deck, it is important to make sure it is watertight so no water leaks through the deck to the rooms below (especially in the case of a plaza deck). TRITOflex™ can be sprayed on to any surface and a traffiable protective coat can be applied, which makes it the perfect way to waterproof a deck for years to come.
